If you answered ‘yes’ to the above questions, you can be comfortable playing the Paladin. At this point, you should chose from the four races that follow the route of the Paladin.

Leveling should not be difficult during the first stages of the game, if you follow the simplest rule in faster leveling – do not pass up on all quests. These quests are designed to be played and they are designed in such a way that they can provide the necessary items, abilities, skills, and trainings to get you prepared for the higher and more difficult levels of the game. These also provide instances that can help you gather enough gold and gears. Yes, even in the virtual world, gold is still very important. This gives you the capacity to buy abilities, whether defensive or offensive, spells, equipment, food and others.

Different races encounter different quests throughout the game. But for all races, the first several levels are spent in a starting town where your character will be trained by a trainer who will give you a heads up on the game. Once you’ve accomplished the quests your first trainers gave you, you will be directed to your second town where a new trainer and new quests wait for you. At this stage, your talent tree will open up, allowing you to handle the distribution of points for each talent you want to develop; this is also the stage where you can start mastering a specific profession. Heads up on leveling your Paladin player – The initial levels should be very easy as these were designed to give the beginning player a bird’s eye view of how the game works. These are also where a beginning player collects decent gears and gold which you can use to sustain your player. On top of these, players are also equipped with a trainer that acts as a guide. Depending on your race, you will be given specific quests which you should complete in order to move up to higher stages of the game. Otherwise, you will have very little to no capacity to fight higher-level players and characters. there are a couple of notable quests which you might find useful during the game, here they are:

For Dwarves – For level 1 Dwarf players, The Troll Caves, A New Threat and The Dwarven Outfitters should be completed; level 3 players should finish The Stolen Journal and the Evershine; and, level 5 players should accomplish the Return to Bellowfiz.

For Humans – The first notable quests are available to level 2 players, The Brotherhood of Thieves and the Skirmish at Echo Ridge, which should be followed by the level 3 quest called the Grape Manifest, and the level 6 quest, the Princess Must Die!.

For Draenei – Level 1 Draenei, regardless of the class, will encounter the loot-gathering quest called the Replenishing the Healing Crystals and another quest called the Spare Parts in the starting region, the Ammen Vale.

For Blood Elves – Although there are other quests available to levels 1 to 10 players, the first notable is the quest that leads to the Blood Elves’ route towards Redemption – the Redeeming the Dead or the Summons from Knight-Lord Bloodvalor.

The following levels will advance through a series of quests which has objectives depending on the race. For all Paladin-enabled races excluding the Blood Elves, level 12 will comprise of quests that has resurrection spell or Redemption as the reward. This quest is popularly known as the Tome of Divinity/Redemption. In case Blood Elves players are wondering, this is the counterpart of the Summons from Knight-Lord Bloodvalor. The Tome of Valor of level 20 characters follows. This Alliance-only quest ends with acquiring a valuable ability for Paladins, the ability to Sense Undead, and two gears – the Verigan’s Fist and the Bastion of Stormwind.Blood Elves, on the other hand, have to go through a quest called Return to Silvermoon for the ability to Sense Undead and a weapon called the Blood-Tempered Ranseur.

Once a player hits level 50, 2 more quests have to be accomplished to advance to much higher levels – the Forging The Mightstone quest and the Charger quest. Blood Elf players, on the other hand, will be faced by a series of quests – the Scourgebane, the Summon Charger and the Blood Knight Tabard.Note: This Paladin leveling guide stops at level 60 to allow players to be on their own to complete levels 70 through 80+.

Ever since World of Warcraft first was released I have been almost addicted to the game. And most of the time I was playing I played a paladin. In the early days of wow, pvp’ing on a paladin was basically a joke. Then came the Burning Crusade, with new spells, and abilities we rocked the early arena seasons. Now the Wrath of the Lich King has been released, and someone over at blizzard was feeling a little paladin love. So it doesn’t matter what spec you play, you can hold your own in most scenarios on a Paladin.

We will being with Holy Paladins in PvP, which is where I personally spend most of my arena time. With the new improvements to Holy Shock, as well as instant flash of lights plus sacred shield, well our mobility has just never been this good. The basics of being a pvp great start with your ability to use line of sight to your advantage. You need to learn to use the arena terrain to your advantage, hiding out of line of sight until you must cast, then jumping back out before you opponents have time to react.

But long gone are the days when Holy Paladins were able to just stand back and cast. Now days anytime the opposing team has a melee player I usually spend most of the map with him relentlessly beating on me. The trick here is Kiting, and Holy Paladins have some very unique abilities to enable us to do this successfully. The first of which is Blessing of Freedom, I rarely have this spell off cool down, either using it to enable me to put some distance between me and the melee player or tossing it on my of my allies so that they can stay on top of the target they are trying to kill.

By combining Blessing of Freedom with Judgment of Justice you get a very exceptional combo, which enables you to outrun and potential pursuer. This increased speed lets you use the built in arena obstacles to the maximum advantage. Now if you are reading this guide at the moment and you still use your keyboard to turn your character you should stop now. No advice I have to offer compares to the dramatic skill increase by simply learning to use your mouse to turn and move.

Now back to using obstacles successfully, Pillars, and the tomb in Ruins, are amazing for kiting running around a pillar with a melee player hot on your heels, then partway around running the direction you came from can buy you precious seconds to get off that Holy Light you desperately need.

One thing you must keep in mind while kiting is the location of all other players in the arena, it will do you no good to successfully kite and keep yourself alive if you allow your team mates to fall. A Holy Paladin standing alone is soon a dead paladin.

Another skill that you need to practice and master is juking. There will be many times when you simply must get a longer cast of, and with all of the abilities out there that can be used to silence a player during casting you have to learn how to avoid getting locked out.

But how do you prevent this? The answer is simple though the trick takes a lot of practice to master. You have to learn to juke the enemy, this means to stop casting in the middle of your cast right before the opponent attempts to silence you. Sounds easy right? Learning the timing for this can make a huge difference in your teams ability to succeed in arenas. Knowing when to stop casting also depends upon the player you are up against and how fast their reaction time is. Typically I break off my casts before the 3/4 marker on the cast bar, and unless the other player is very fast with their reaction I have found this to be quite successful.
