Paladin Leveling – From Zero To Hero

By Alexander D. Heister | April 22, 2010

All classes in the World of Warcraft are unique, thanks to their individual talents, skills and abilities that make game play for individual players distinctive. Players can choose classes with which they can identify themselves and for those who hate evil more than other things and upholds all that is good, the Paladin is the perfect choice. This newbie’s guide to Paladin leveling was created to walk new players through the process of creating a Paladin character from scratch. But, before we start with Paladin leveling, let us first discuss things that can help you get started:

Are you okay with using the three roles – Holy, Protection and Retribution – demanded by the character?

Are you okay with soloing?

Are you a melee warrior or a range player?

If you answered ‘yes’ to the above questions, you can be comfortable playing the Paladin. At this point, you should chose from the four races that follow the route of the Paladin.

Leveling should not be difficult during the first stages of the game, if you follow the simplest rule in faster leveling – do not pass up on all quests. These quests are designed to be played and they are designed in such a way that they can provide the necessary items, abilities, skills, and trainings to get you prepared for the higher and more difficult levels of the game. These also provide instances that can help you gather enough gold and gears. Yes, even in the virtual world, gold is still very important. This gives you the capacity to buy abilities, whether defensive or offensive, spells, equipment, food and others.

Different races encounter different quests throughout the game. But for all races, the first several levels are spent in a starting town where your character will be trained by a trainer who will give you a heads up on the game. Once you’ve accomplished the quests your first trainers gave you, you will be directed to your second town where a new trainer and new quests wait for you. At this stage, your talent tree will open up, allowing you to handle the distribution of points for each talent you want to develop; this is also the stage where you can start mastering a specific profession. These so-called professions are largely based on specific trade-oriented skills which should help advance you during the gameplay by allowing you to use specific enhancement or specific items.

Paladin leveling should not be complicated during the first ten levels. Once you get to level ten where you start building up on your talent, that’s when real action hits. At this point, newbies can trust on the help that may be given by more detailed leveling guides.

Having begun as a beginner myself, I have learnt a few important things that newbies need to speed up Paladin leveling. Please go to my website for more information.
